Dr. Madjid Matin
Dr. Madjid Matin-one of the most "esteemed periodontists" in the Washington area-has practiced dentistry since 1989.
He received a dental degree at Boston University, where he also completed post-doctoral training in periodontology-treatment of the gums. Dr. Matin received an undergraduate degree at the University of Houston, and earned distinction as a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society
Attending many continuing education courses helps Dr. Matin stay at the top of his field in periodontology, so that he can provide the highest level of care for his patients.
A frequent lecturer on advanced topics in restorative dentistry, he has been a featured speaker at the National Capital Dental Symposium.
Dr. Matin is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American College of Oral Implantology, the International Congress of Oral Implantology and the American Dental Association. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Osseointegration.
Dr. Matin is a member of numerous local dental study clubs and societies, including the District of Columbia Dental Society, the DC Millennium Dental Study Club, the Washington Iranian Dental Study Club and the Northern Virginia Implant Society.
